Subscription business models are very popular. Recurring revenue is attractive, and many of our clients are considering either introducing a subscription model, or revamping one they've already launched.

Consumer markets have seen an especially large amount of innovation and investment in the past 24 months. Regardless of if you're consumer or B2B focused, it's useful to get a sense of notable trends and how they can impact your strategy.

While each business and market has its own unique characteristics, we find that the components of designing an effective model have several things in common, regardless of the situation. At the very least, it's good to know what questions you should be asking throughout the process.
